There is no I in Team

Despite 2020-21 playing out as the most unusual year in college athletics, Skyhawk teams showed up ready to play and make school history. With fall sports postponed, soccer, football, and volleyball games joined track, softball, golf, lacrosse, and basketball schedules for a whopping 143 events held over the Spring 2021 semester. In the end, there was plenty to celebrate, from the men’s golf team boasting their best finish in a decade to 29 student-athletes earning All-RMAC honors.

2020-2021 Highlights

75 total student-athletes earned All-Academic honors through the RMAC in 2020-21.

29 total student-athletes earned All-RMAC honors.

Men’s Golf finished 2nd at RMAC Championships.

Women’s Lacrosse made it to the RMAC Tournament for the first time since 2018.

Women’s Soccer junior Katie Smith was named RMAC Defensive Player of the Year.

Women's Softball earned its first RMAC Tournament berth, and its first RMAC Tournament win, since 2014.

Women's Volleyball defeated No. 22 ranked UCCS on February 11 (the program’s first win over a ranked opponent since its move to NCAA Division II in 1994).
