Meagan Dermody is a Visiting Assistant Professor of English. She received her MFA in creative writing with a focus on poetry from the University of Kansas in 2022. She has published her work in magazines like Obliterat, Landfill, Awkward Mermaid, and RABBIT, as well as zines and bathroom walls.
Before pursuing graduate study, Meagan worked as an acquisitions assistant for a university press, an occasional developmental editor, and a freelance copy editor. Meagan's work as a teacher is relational, collaborative, and student-centered.
