About Dr. Majid

Dr. Majid has been working on Offline Handwriting Recognition for Bangla and Korean (Hangul) scripts using an approach called character spotting with object detection neural networks. His primary interest for future research is to expand the handwriting recognition framework for other scripts with complex nature where the problem is still considered to be unsolved.
