About Dr. Matt Welz
Matt is an Assistant Professor of Physics and Engineering with expertise in zero knowledge proofs, applications of blockchain technology, algorithms, and abstract algebra. Previously a tenured Associate Professor of Mathematics, Matt transitioned to the software industry, where he contributed to a variety of innovative blockchain-centric projects both in and out of the government space. His multidisciplinary background and passion for research and teaching drive him to bridge the gap between theory and practical applications in computer engineering.
