Scheduling, fees, & other details

Accuplacer is a national skills assessment tool that was developed, standardized, and validated by the College Board, a division of the Educational Testing Service (which also administers the SAT, GRE, and TOEFL tests). Fort Lewis College can use it for both course placement and basic skills determination.

Math Placement Test

The Math Placement Test is free and can be taken at home online. Enrolled students or newly accepted students will need to email the Testing Center (testingcenter@fortlewis.edu) to request the webpage link for the test.

English Composition Placement

You may take the Accuplacer Exam in-person at our Testing Center, or you may take it at home online. 

• Schedule in-person Accuplacer (for FLC)
• Schedule in-person Accuplacer for another college

Steps to Register For Online Exam

1. To set up your Remote Voucher, we will need the following information emailed to testingcenter@fortlewis.edu :
   1. Name
   2. Birthdate
   3. Phone Number
   4. Email
3. You will receive an automated email from College Board and the online proctor company Examity. Examity will have a payment link for their proctor services of $10. You will need internet access, camera and mic. All information will be in their email. You will schedule an appointment with them.
4. Once you have completed the Accuplacer test, your scores will automatically be in our Accuplacer dashboard.
