Megan is a third-year writing major double-minoring in Honors and Gender and Sexuality Studies! She is passionate about writing and loves getting to help any and all students with writing! She grew up in Texas and moved to Durango for Fort Lewis, and she adores this small mountain town. She can't wait to work with you!
Hi! My name is Danika, I’m a second-year psych. student with a writing minor. I’m also on the FLC cycling team. If I won the lottery I would probably pay for college and take a few extra years to take more fun classes lol. If I could have one superpower, I think I’d like to be a shapeshifter. I feel most at home on the bike, on my group rides back home.
My name is Will Bridges and I am a sophomore trombone performance major. This is my third semester as a writing tutor here at Fort Lewis and I'm excited to help with whatever you may need!
Holly is a senior with a major in writing and a minor in history. She spends a lot of time writing research papers and is happy to help other students do the same. If she could write a lengthy paper examining narrative storytelling in video games, she would.
My name is Anna, and I am a world language education major and TESOL minor. I can help with writing organization and flow.
Jenny Mason is an award-winning children's author of over 20 nonfiction books. She received an MFA from the Vermont College of Fine Arts and an M.Phil from Trinity College Dublin. Jenny is every student's guide-on-the-side for writing, researching, study skills, and time management.
Kalista Peña (she/her/hers) is a fourth-year English major with a writing minor. She spends much of her free time reading dystopian and science fiction novels and listening to spoken word poetry. She always has her dog Rhea beside her, aka the best reading buddy ever! She can help you build strong cohesive arguments within your essays or answer questions about formatting. She also loves creative writing and is more than happy to help you brainstorm, edit, or share thoughts about your stories/poems/essays/etc!
