In Spring 2024, Academic Affairs will begin phasing out Banner and transitioning into the new technology platform, Workday. The essential AA functions of curriculum management and scheduling will be integrated into the new platform and hiring and budget processes.

September 4: Proposals for the 2024-2025 Catalog of Courses due. This is because of the tight turnaround for creating and testing Workday course and degree program records. This deadline is not for large-scale curricular proposals but relatively minor fixes that the Registrar, Workday, or Department flagged. Please contact Ian Fullinwider about these types of changes. Curriculog will reopen on December 1 for large-scale changes for the subsequent Catalog.
October 2: Proposals for the 2024-2025 Catalog finish review through faculty governance. This provides the minimal time to produce a catalog and update related systems, including the Workday course and program inventories.
December 1: 2024-2025 Catalog changes published and Curriculog open for next review cycle (25-27).
January 26: Proposals for the 2025-2027 Catalog of Courses due. This allows for a more regular review and production timeline so the ‘25-’27 Catalog can be published by the start of the Fall 2024 semester.
Week of August 21: Excel Spreadsheets for Fall 2024 will be sent to Chairs. Chairs already have copies of Spring 2024, which can be used as drafts of Spring 2025.
September 20: Chairs complete the four- and two-year maps to graduation and 2-year maps for Certificates. Most of the four-year maps were completed last year; some need cleanup. These maps are for degree planning, advising, and reference when you plan out your curricular offerings for the next couple of years.
September 25: Chairs complete the draft of Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 schedules and the proposed Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 as a guide for curriculum management and needed faculty resources.
October 9: Olivia sends out drafts for Summer 2024
November 6: Summer schedules due to Olivia
December 1: Final deadline for changes to Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 schedules.
