Fort Lewis College joins National Humanities Alliance

A step to help ensure that Fort Lewis College keeps its liberal arts identity is the College’s decision to become a member of the National Humanities Alliance (NHA). FLC joins such other schools as Harvard, Princeton, and Stanford as members.

History students make the past accessible

Some formerly disorganized and inaccessible historical records of Fort Lewis College will be available to future researchers thanks to the hands-on efforts of students in a new course on Archival Theory & Practice.

Two Ecuadorian experiences and one new career path

My plan was to get a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and enter a master’s program for Child Life Specialists. Shortly after I was accepted, I had my first encounter with Village Aid Project-Engineers Without Borders (VAP-EWB).

The art of scholarships

Fact: College is expensive.

Myth: Scholarships are hard to get and not worth the time.

Truth: Anyone can get scholarships -- you just have to do it right.
