The Outlook offers presentations from experts in business and economics who will give their views on the current status of the economy for the Four Corners region, Colorado and the nation. Over 170 Skyhawks graduated from Fort Lewis College on the cold sunny morning of December 16, 2017. The students enjoyed a Commencement Address from Eric Huggins, professor of Management and winner of the Alice Admire Teaching Excellence Award. The recent announcement by the Department of the Interior that it proposes to reduce the size of Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante national monuments in Utah is one of the most high-profile changes to public lands in recent history. And Jon Harvey, assistant professor of Geosciences, is helping the public and his students understand those changes through interactive GIS maps.
