‘Understanding the Pulse for COVID-19 Vaccinations among FLC Community'

Dear all,

I am launching a research study titled ‘Understanding the Pulse for COVID-19 Vaccinations among FLC Community’ which has been approved by FLC’s Institutional Review Board. Planned between now and May 2021, this study will include online surveys, Zoom-based focused group discussions, interviews, and motivational interviewing, and aims to understand vaccine-related perceptions among FLC students and employees in order to inform vaccination communication for effective COVID-19 vaccination utilization. All students and employees of FLC who are at least 18 years of age are eligible to participate in this study.

To begin with, here’s a pre-survey, link: https://iu.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3WqC4CXIpbUdpvE

On completion of the survey, you’d be directed to another link (for a lucky draw. Twenty randomly selected lucky draw winners will be incentivized with FLC swags. To protect your confidentiality, only aggregate data will be reported, and no names will be collected. This survey should only take a few minutes to complete, and you can feel free to leave any questions blank if you would prefer not to answer. Your participation in this survey is completely voluntary, and there are no direct benefits or foreseeable risks to participants.

We deeply appreciate your time and effort.

If the survey questions bring up issues that you would like to discuss further, the Fort Lewis College Counseling Center has professional counselors available. Personal counseling is confidential, and services are free to students on a short-term basis, and the contact information is listed below. If you have any questions about this research or would like to know the results of the study, please contact Dr. Tapati Dutta, Assistant Professor, Public Health Department.
