Our experienced, compassionate team provides inclusive, affordable care—right here on campus. From same-day sick visits and mental health support to lab services, minor procedures, and reproductive care, we offer a wide range of services to help you stay healthy and focused on your goals.
Comprehensive health services
- Management of acute illnesses and injuries
- Assistance with chronic health conditions
- Mental health and behavioral health care, including counseling and medication management
- Support for sleep concerns and changing sleep habits — we’ll help you understand what’s affecting your rest and find solutions that work for you
- Pre-participation sports physicals; employment, school, or travel exams
- Annual GYN exams and Pap tests
- Minor surgical procedures (e.g., wart/mole removal, stitches)
- IV therapy
Contraception and sexual health
Available contraceptive options:
- Condoms
- Birth control pills (oral contraceptives)
- Depo-Provera injections
- IUDs (insertion and removal)
- Nexplanon (insertion and removal)
- Emergency contraception (Plan B)
- Non-hormonal birth control recommendations
Free contraception is available through the BC4U grant fund, including: IUDs, Nexplanon, birth control pills, Depo, and Plan B. Condoms are always free and available at the Health Center.

Schedule an appointment. We’ll talk through your concerns, assess your risk, perform an exam if needed, and recommend testing and prevention options. For more information on sexual health, visit the Centers for Disease Control.
Laboratory services
- Comprehensive diagnostic and screening blood tests
- Fecal Occult blood tests and H. pylori testing
- Testing for sexually transmitted infections (STI/STD)
- Women’s health testing, including vaginal infections, Pap tests, and pregnancy screening
- Rapid in-house testing for conditions like Strep Throat, Influenza, and Mono
- Urinalysis and TB screening
On-campus pharmacy
Our on-campus pharmacy offers prescriptions and common over-the-counter medications—making it easy to get what you need without leaving campus.
Taking medication for mental health?
You’re not alone—and yes, in most cases, you can get your prescription filled at the Health Center. Our medical staff is experienced with medications commonly used to treat depression, anxiety, and other mental health conditions, and the pharmacy stocks most of them.

If possible, try to locate your original records before contacting us. If you can’t find them, you can request a copy from the Student Health Center by submitting the form below.
Please allow 3–7 business days for processing. We’ll scan and email your records to you. You will be responsible for forwarding them to the appropriate provider, agency, or institution.

Travel Visits & Healthy Traveler Program
Planning a trip abroad? Schedule a Travel Visit with one of our Registered Nurses to make sure you’re protected and prepared before you go.
If you're traveling with a class, check with your professor — they may already be coordinating a Healthy Traveler Program session with a nurse as a guest speaker. During your visit, we’ll cover:
- Health risks specific to your destination
- Itinerary review and travel safety planning
- Immunization recommendations
- Malaria prevention and medications
