Dr. Betty Dorr is a professor in the Department of Psychology at Fort Lewis College. She joined the College in 1991. Dorr's primary areas of academic expertise include: reproductive endocrinology and behavior of mammalian systems, evolutionary psychology, mating systems, and mate choice mechanisms and human sexuality.
Dr. Dorr’s research currently investigates knowledge of ovulation and menstruation in humans and behavior changes that may occur due to this knowledge. Dorr teaches Physiological Psychology, Animal Behavior, Psychological Research Methods, Statistics, and The Psychology of Intuition to name a few. She also enjoys volunteering with the Colorado Division of Wildlife at the Durango Wildlife Museum.
