Kristine Greer is a professor in the Department of Teacher Education at Fort Lewis College. She joined the college in 2005. In the Teacher Leadership program, Professor Greer teaches and advises on topics related to early childhood, family relationships, educational management, differentiated instruction and special education topics. Before becoming an associate professor, she served as the director of the Fort Lewis College Campbell Child and Family Center and Visiting Faculty Early Childhood Education. Prior to joining Fort Lewis College, Greer served as the assistant director for the San Juan College Child and Family Development Center, an adjunct faculty for San Juan College, a federal PRISM reviewer for American Indian Head Start, a child development advocate for the San Juan Basin Health Department, and an early childhood special educator for Community Connections in Durango, Colorado. Greer is a member of several professional associations, including the Colorado State Advisory Council for Parent Involvement, the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education, the Colorado Association for the Education of young Children, the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, the International Reading Association, and the Council for Exceptional Children.
