If you’re interested in working with people who speak other languages, the TESOL minor will prepare you to teach English as a second language in local, national and international educational contexts, no matter what your major. This minor will require extra coursework which, combined with field placement opportunities, will provide a deeper understanding of the English language, the needs of diverse learners, and how design and teach the English language.

When you have been accepted to FLC, you will be assigned a faculty advisor in your first semester. Contact the Teacher Education Department to set up a meeting.
