Clocks that are located in classrooms and public areas are supported by Physical Plant Services (PPS).
Twice a year PPS sets the clocks located in student study areas and classrooms during the weekend when Daylight Saving Time changes. Clocks in offices and other non-study areas and/or clocks purchased by departments will not be reset as part of this effort.
Because college telephones and computers are equipped with "time displays," the need for clocks, in most areas, is no longer a priority. It is part of a continuing effort to both identify specific PPS responsibilities and limit PPS efforts to what is really needed to support college operations.
