This space features a Crestron control touch panel that allows for easy Volume, projector, and camera controls. Facing the students is a large motorized screen on which the room's projector can display. Mounted on the wall at the back of the room is an AVer PTZ camera. This room is fully equipped for recording music and recitals with audio and video, though it is not Zoom capable. 

Classroom technology

AVer TR530 PTZ Camera

The AVer TR530 PTZ camera is USB connected to the classroom PC for use in video conferencing applications such as Zoom. The camera has pan, tilt, and zoom capability which are controlled with a touch panel or a remote. They do have a simple tracking feature that can be enabled or disabled.

  • To enable tracking, the touch panel might have a button to toggle the tracking feature, but you can also use the button on the remote.
  • Blue light on the front indicates the camera is powered on.
  • An Orange light indicates the camera is off.

Nomad LT Podium

The Nomad Podiums are multi-purpose lecterns with AV incorporated into them, providing an encapsulated system with control, video switching, and multiple source inputs. Most Nomads will have these features:

  • Touch Screen Panel for Controls
  • Built-in PC
  • Right side drawer - HDMI cable for a laptop or external device
  • Left side drawer - Document Camera
  • DVD Player
